Lynn Nottage is a playwright from Brooklyn. She graduated from Brown University and Yale School of Drama. Her plays include Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine, Intimate Apparel, Las Meninas, Crumbs from the Table of Joy, and Ruined. Lynn Nottage tends to write about the interactions and challanges people need to deal with. Her beautiful writing style and world view were shown in the play Ruined, which just won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. She also became a MacArthur Fellows in 2007.
